LONDON in point form

LONDON... dot point style:

- Celebrated Ellie's 21st with a day of liesurely shopping and then dinner at a nice Indian restaurant.
- Met up with Ali and Aaron Glover from Rochedale which was VERY exciting!
- Stumbled across Martha in the streets... oh Martha....
- Saw 'Les Miserables'!!!! WOW! Sorry Dorithea but it actually takes the cake over the Pahntom of the Opera... absolutely amazing. Money well spent!
- Other sights: Buckingham Palace and changing of the guards, Big Ben (not so big in real life), Tower of London (it's actually more like the 'Castle of London', very interesting- especially when you have a hilaroius tour guide to lighten up the immense amount of history that's fed to you), the Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and St Paul's Cathedral (we climbed to the top- all 500 or so stairs: the view was fantastic!).
- Lastly: sleeping at Heathrow airport the night before we flew out... Note to self: don't try that again. Not pleasant... all I can say is thank goodness for Tyson's hostel sheet! So handy to climb into and lie on public seating.... the only place we could sit/lie was at the arrivals gate... a place which is actually never quiet.... mind you, when we woke up we found a number of others camping in our area so it wasn't such a bad idea after all...

AND then we went to AMSTERDAM!!!
