The United Kingdom and our team of two turns to THREE!!!
Hi!! We made it to London, clocking about 2 hours of sleep overnight which was a little crazy... am still catcghing upo on that one! Went straight to car rental place and were given the keys to a brand spankin new Holden Vectra Estate wagon!! We are the 2nd ppl to drive it so VERY excited! But also super-vigilant in tight spaces cos I don't want any damage on it. I am the sole driver for the UK which I am really happy about because I really love driving across the countryside, perhaps inspired by endless hours of driving back and forth to Sth Australia?...
So we got the car and drove to Salisbury where we picked up Cristie Mayer, our 3rd team member! From this point onward the team steadily grows to eight, culminating in Germany on Dec 23rd. SO MUCH FUN TO COME! Checked out Salisbury Cathedral, then to Stone's Henge by nightfall. Found our way to Cathy's (friend of Daniel's parents) ion Warminster who gave us alcoholic beverages and nibbles, followed by 'game stew' (containing duck, pheasant and deer- tasted MUCH better than it sounds!!!) Watched a hilarious show called: I'm a celebrity now get me the hell out of here, or something like that, set in the Queensland rainforest, coss between Fear Factor and Survivor. As I said, hilarious! Did our washing and then to bed after being awake for pretty much 2 days straight!
Slept in cos my phone clock was on NY time, oh well, needed the sleep!!! Packed up the car and drove to Bath where we checked out some awesome Roman Baths formed from natural springs. Amazing, have to show pics at some stage. Took the audio tour (free on our British Heritage Pass purchased in Aus).. and then drove to Avesbury where we checked out Avesbury circle (similar to Stones Henge) and then wound our way to Wroughton, just out of Swindon to stay with Jane, Meellit and their 5 year old daughter Priya. Ate a massive meal, Jane noted how unfortunate it is that we humans can't eat and hold it like animals do for hibernation... wouldn't that save us a heap of money!!! Anyway, Priya is SOO Cute!!! Practised her reading with Cristie and I and played fun game of hiding fairy wands! She is a clever bunny!
OK. So now I must go cos computer is needed. Hope all is well wherever you may be right now.
We're heading to Manchester tomorrow which I noticed today is a REALLY big drive so need the sleep! We'll be staying with Cristie's sister, Nicole which will be heaps of fun!
Love to you.. Anisia =)

Yes, I strongly recommend Bath. The audio tour of the Roman baths is really interesting and the surrounding town is beautiful. Don't forget to message me when you find out your secret destination!!! See you soon!
