Las Vegas to Flagstaff (via Hoover Dam)

Up bright and early for the 4 hour trip to Flagstaff (the town where Jen goes to uni: Northern Arizona University (NAU). Just out of LV we parked the car and walked across Hoover Dam: WOW that wall is HUGE!!







WOW!
































You can't see my feet but this is me being in two places at once!!! (Refer to A Walk to Remember), straddling the state line between Nevada and Arizona, straight down the middle of the dam wall. So cool!









Sitting on the wall at Lake Mead. This is the lake that provides water supply to the dam. There were chipmunks running around a couple of metres below!! So cute!










Very cool fire hydrants they have here...

OK. Ellie has finished class so we must leave the uni now and go out for Indian all you can eat... I know y'all want some (learned how to say y'all properly) hehe... So must finish updating you tomorrow. hope you're excited cos there's lots more to come! (lava tubes, Grand Canyon, Ann Arbor and farm in Ohio!)... Hope this finds you well.
