Christmas Day

So here we are at Rikki and Kristin's for Christmas, a pose with our childhood Christmas sacks. Thanks mum for organising for them to be here. We missed you and dad VERY much. We were thankful for the video link-up to you guys in China.

Here is Joshua with new Villeroy and Boch Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus from Nanny and Poppy. A big hit!

Joshua eyes off our delectable dessert thanks to chef extraordinaire, Kristin (LOVED the lunch too- Chicken medallions): Meringues with Raspberry mousse and sauce.. I'm sure it had a more technical name than that...
An after lunch re-enactment of the Christmas story, Joshua with angel, the other characters from varoius sources, mainly Simeon's duplo set

EllieJordan and two of their 3 Kings

Joshua in his new camping tent, complete with battery operated open fireplace, gas burner and lantern. He slept the last two nights in there, and his afternoon nap too.

Simeon Luke with his new sensory colour book. You could just squish his face to pieces, couldn't you?

This is me domiating the Carcassonne board with my yellow farmers...didn't help... I still lost to the Rookie, Kay (Jordan's mum)...

Take note: purple dragon at the front and little white fairy centre next to my farmer. This is our first game with the new addition to Carcassonne, Princesses and Dragons which I gave Rikki and Kristin for Christmas. Now I want it.

Christmas definitely wouldn't be complete without a game of cricket =) Note Josh as wicket keeper with new grip-ball catching pad (EllieJordan gift)

And now I must go, for I am being called to a game of Memory with Joshua's new Stroogle cards (thanks Cam!! He loved his personally signed book!)

Awww, Neish you are adding to the homesickness that after 14 months has finally kicked in. But I love that you are updating, unlike bad bad Danny. I got my Christmas DVD from the Brissie crew and the homesickness has begun. 6 weeks and I'll be back!
