UPDATE:

If you were in our house over the weekend you would have experienced the household reaction to having NO internet.... there's been issues.... so basically, i've had news to share but couldn't share it (thanks for the reminder though Ellie)... I coped quite ok but there are others in 'the house' that feel muchmore attached to their internet time than I.

For the above reason, I am now at the UQ Library in the Royal Bris Hosp where I get free internet so I can let you all know: Jo and I have signed the contract for the unit at Kangaroo Point!!!! We are VERY excited!!! I will send an email with our new address (Rikki has taught me well enough not to leave those sort of details open to public view... I'm almost tempted to remove the map)...

Our move in date will be the 7th October which is FAST approaching. This is the time I am thankful for being the personality type that I am and have packed almost everything I need already =) ... especially since there is growing pressure from work superiors to get a new CV and selection criteria finished for a position going to advertising on the 29th Sept, closing on the 13th.... nice timing, hey? I'm just gonna roll with whatever happens and know that it'll all work out in the wash.

SO...it'll be all hands on deck Saturday the 7th. We're thinkin we'll finish the day with take away and a bottle of wine on the balcony overlooking the river... I think that'll work very well for all involved.

So, yes, very exciting times! Will keep you posted as we progress and hoprfully photos soon!!
