So I've recovered from crashing into a car on my bicycle. many lessons learned and much caution now implemented.

What's happening now?

***my favourite markets are closing down due to fungal infection of the roots of the fig trees that line the park where they're held... gotta rearrange my routine and open my mind to new market possbilities... shame on that fungal infection... I signed the petition but the council will not be swayed given the threat that the fungus poses to the rest of the fig tree population...

*** i got my job! which means i'm definitely now a Brisbane-ite! Having LOTS of fun with Brisbane adventures to date... So much more to be had!

***Saw new James Bond movie (Casino Royale) last night with dad, Martha and her dad. WOW!!! I was thrilled to the point of heart palpitations.

***my toilet has broken: seeping water throught the wall and into my room, wet carpet, carpet man came and placed industrial sized blower in room for whole week... but no sign of plumber depite urgent messages flagged with them... nasty bit about it is that the water and electricity wastage will be billed to US...
