Italiano!

Yep, we made it to Italy. Spent our last few days exploring southern Germany, Austria, Leichtenstein and Switzerland. this involved picturesque drives through some amazing alpine landscapes including tunnels that took you through mountains at least 2 km long! It was fantastic. Our 1st city in Italy was Milan. Pretty but a place where we went through something that all travellers must go through but wish they didnt have to. I will give it to you in brief: i booked hostel, forgt to write down details, arrive in milan with no address, search for internet, only internet is not working, call home and wake mum up at 4:30am, get details, ask for directions, catch metro, walk for 2 hrs zigzagging thrugh milan with heavy suitcases and poor martha with a suitcase whose handle doesnt come up. we ask ambulance officers, police men, pizza shop guys, randoms in the streets, phone calls. we find the place only to receieve a serve frm the hostel guys because we were later than our reservation tme. all of this amounted to emotional overload for us three girls. the hostel is booked out so we are driven to one around the corner and offered free breakfast at the one that was booked out. this morning we have recovred well, but taken a very important message away. write down hostel details and get reliable directions...

SO now we are in Verona. Checked it out a bbit this arvo but wll do more tomorrow. Will go to Venice tomorrow afternoon which i am very excited about: gondola here i come!!

Ahh..well......you know the past and present . And you did well to go through the situation and recover. All our prayers are with you and your team, i dont think God will put you in a situation from which you cant recover. Its just the way he teaches us :)!
