München

Just arrived in Munich. Haven't seen much yet, just found hostel and now internet on our way to see 'Munich', the new movie about what happened at the Munich Olympics. Will be good to get a little more in sight into what happened here before we visit the olympic stadium.

This morning we left our very special friends, Klaus, Ute, Dorothea, Barbara, Christina and Katarina in Tübingen. We had some incredible down-time there which involved many episodes of 'Friends' (they have the entire 10 years on multiple DVDs), lots of good food, walks in the snow and just great company really. we extended our stay there a few nights because we enjoyed our time with them so much. Thanks girls (and Klaus) for giving us such fond memories of Germany =)

After Munich we head south through Austria and the Swiss Alps to Italy where we give our car back and explore what Italy has to offer by train. Then it's Ellie and I to Turkey for some fun and frivolity without the chicken... and then we see mum and dad in Thailand!! So close now mama and kong!
